Volunteer experiences include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1.- Experience with the disabled<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2.- Help in developing poor communities<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3.- English lessons<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4.- Elderly<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5.- Victims of natural disasters<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>6.- Urban development assistance<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>7.- Turtle\/ animal conservation<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Internships<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Working in Playa del Carmen is a great way to practice your Spanish. Employment opportunities however, might not be paid and will require the expedition of a special Visa in some cases ( usually for staying more than 3 months).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Internships in the Mayan Rivera include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1.- English teacher<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2.- Psychologist or human resource assistant in the internship options<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3.- Tour operator<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4.- Accounting<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5.- Tourist guide<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>6.- Translator<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>*** Please contact us for other request<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Cost<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>For school students, placement is free. A minimum of 3 weeks is required for students to apply, unfortunately, non students can apply for a cost of 3 weeks of courses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Some internships require more fluency than others, please contact us for details.
